« Say hello to the 50 year mortgage - not just for the first time buyer! | Main | Construction of Santan Loop 202 » Thursday, May 18, 2006Scottsdale, AZ Property TaxesTaxes in Scottsdale are lower than in other nearby communities. For example, in the 85254 zip code, homes located in the City of Scottsdale/Scottsdale School District are subject to a total property tax rate of $9.88 per $100 of assessed valuation; homes located in the City of Phoenix/Paradise Valley School District in that same zip code would have a total tax rate of $12.34 per $100 of assessed valuation, 25% higher. Therefore, a $500,000 home would mean a savings of about $1,000 per year for the Scottsdale location.
