« Mesa, Arizona Homeowner Declares War on Pigeons! | Main | Seller Financing: Should you do it? » Tuesday, June 05, 2007Phoenix & Valley Home Value Trends by Zip Code on AZCentral.comI received a phone call today from a BlogArizona.com reader who was looking for historical data on home value trends for certain Valley areas. MLS only goes back so far, but just the other day I read in the Arizona Republic that AZCentral.com has home value trends by zip code. I wasn't sure exactly where on AZCentral.com this information was located so I told her I would find it and post a link. Here's the link - AZCentral.com's Valley Home Values. You enter a zip code in the yellowish box on the right. Then it gives you the five year trend including number of homes sold each year, median price and percent change from the prior year. It also provides data on re-sale home sales by postal carrier route, but you first need to go to the US Postal Service website and enter your street address to find out your carrier route. Data is only listed for those carrier routes with 5 or more home sales in 2005 & 2006.

Only persons that are able to log into the MLS are able to easily pull up the data. The regular consumer pretty much has to do things manually to pull up histories.
